The Sting + woningen Hooge Steenweg ’s-Hertogenbosch

This inner city development, a two-storey retail area of over 1000 m2 with three city homes above it, has been designed with preservation and restoration of the monumental cityscape in mind. We have succeeded in connecting the old with the new and restoring the Den Bosch atmosphere. The new building, located on the Hooge Steenweg - Achter de Tolbrug, became an award-winner as soon as it opened. Opening up homes above a shop is always a challenge. In this case, the best solution was to place them to the rear of the building. A bold detail is the clear five-metre height in the centre.
