This retail building in the city centre of Den Bosch, dating from 1903, was empty and very outdated. After a thorough renovation, the building once again fits into the historical streetscape. There is now a characteristic retail building, consisting of a modern, transparent shop front and maximum floor space. The pre-existing, unattractive façades at the entrance to the flat above have been moved and the existing masonry, as well as the connection between the bottom and top of the façade, has been restored. Strengthening the pre-existing wooden floors was one of several structural improvements.
